How to Create a Team

Overview

Textr Team lets you create multiple teams (workspaces) under one account. This is useful if you manage separate businesses, departments, or projects that need their own phone numbers, team members, and settings.

Each team operates independently. It has its own phone numbers, members, contacts, billing, and configuration. You are automatically the Owner of every team you create.

Create a New Team

  1. Go to Settings
  2. Click the double arrow (Switch Team) icon next to your current team name
  3. Click Create Team
  4. Enter a team name and optionally upload a team logo
  5. Your new team is created and appears in the team list

You can create as many teams as needed. Each team starts with no phone numbers and no members. You will need to subscribe to numbers and invite members separately for each team.

Switch Between Teams

  1. Click the double arrow icon next to your current team name in Settings
  2. Select the team you want to switch to from the dropdown list

The app updates immediately to show the selected team's data. All operations (calling, texting, managing numbers) apply to the currently active team.

 Note: Remember that each team has its own billing balance. Make sure the active team has sufficient funds before sending messages or making calls.
